About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Accountant to support financial operations within a manufacturing environment overseeing multiple plants across the United States. This role is responsible for product costing, inventory accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and business partnering with operations to drive performance and support decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication skills
Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.

Nice To Haves

CPA designation (or working toward CPA) preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage monthly close activities related to manufacturing operations.
Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production variances.
Maintain standard costing and support annual cost updates.
Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses.
Reconcile inventory and support physical inventory counts.
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and ERP system enhancements.
