We are currently hiring a qualified manual SMAW (stick) and GTAW (TIG) welder for our facility in Barberton, Ohio. The welder selected for this position will set up and perform extremely critical welds using stick, TIG, electric arc and heliarc welding processes to produce pressure and strength welds in all positions. Maintaining strict compliance to technical documentation and instructions is required. Control of welding parameters, interpass cleaning and preheating is required. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ demonstrated experience performing similar welding tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing prints and weld data sheets
  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
  • All applicants must successfully complete a pre-employment weld screen

Nice To Haves

  • Lesser experience coupled with formal training and/or certification may be considered.
