About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer with strong experience in testing SharePoint applications, custom SharePoint web parts, and Azure-based backend services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating application functionality, integrations, and backend processes across cloud environments while ensuring high-quality software delivery. Experience with automation testing using Robot Framework and Python and familiarity with Azure DevOps are desirable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in Manual Testing with solid knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
  • Hands-on experience testing SharePoint Online/On-Premises applications and custom SharePoint web parts.
  • Experience validating backend systems, data flows, and queries involving Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Experience testing Azure Function Apps, integrations, and cloud-based application components.
  • Good understanding of testing methodologies, test case design techniques, and quality assurance best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Robot Framework using Python for automation testing
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and Agile project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for SharePoint applications and custom SharePoint web parts.
  • Validate backend functionality, APIs, and data processing workflows involving Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Test and verify business logic implemented through Azure Function Apps and related Azure services.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects, ensuring timely closure and quality resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and improve test coverage.
  • Participate in test planning, test execution reporting, and continuous quality improvement activities within Agile development environments.
