Manual QA Engineer for Software Development - MX

• Ensure the functionality and performance of the company's back-office software applications
• Collaborate with product managers and software developers to understand desired functionality of software
• Create test cases for software
• Execute test cases manually or through automated tools
• Report any bugs, usability concerns, and cases of unacceptable performance
• Author and manage execution of test cases using tools such as Zephyr Scale/Test Rails
• Manual testing of user interfaces of back-office web and mobile applications
• Test APIs using tools such as JMeter and Postman
• Collaborate with developers and program managers during story grooming to understand desired software functionality
• Document desired functionality
• Use MySQL for data validation
• Use browser console to view JavaScript errors, warnings, etc.
