About The Position
Performs a wide variety of tasks to program, set up and operate a Manual Mills and/or Lathes. Measures and inspects all parts produced. This position operates in an industrial/field environment. The role requires working in and around manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED): or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Quality System.
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license
Responsibilities
- Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
- Set up machinery for production runs
- Ability to hold close tolerances.
- Ensure that the production parts meet specifications and verify their quality.
- Measure and inspect production parts.
- Follows lockout tag out procedures.
- Proceeds with minimal supervision.
- Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.
