About The Position
HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Manual Machinist to join their safety-conscious team in the La Porte, TX area. This is a Manufacturing job shop position where the Manual Machinist will be responsible for producing machined parts by setting up and operating Drill Presses, Mills, Horizontal Lathes, and VTLs. The role requires maintaining all quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Additionally, the Manual Machinist may plan stock inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of stock. This is not a CNC Machinist position; candidates must be able to operate a manual machine.

Responsibilities
- Producing machined parts by setting up and operating Drill Presses, Mills, Horizontal Lathes, & VTLs
- Maintaining all quality and safety standards
- Keeping records
- Maintaining equipment and supplies
- Planning stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available
- Anticipating needed stock
- Placing and expediting orders for stock
- Verifying receipt of stock
