About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a precision-focused manufacturing team. This role involves setting up and operating manual mills and lathes to produce high-quality, tight-tolerance components in a safety-driven environment. You will be responsible for machining precision parts from blueprints and technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in every finished product.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of manual milling and lathe experience
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings
• Skilled in using precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and material properties
• Experience in a high-precision machining environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job travelers
• Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
• Verify part accuracy and ensure tight tolerances are met
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Troubleshoot machining issues as needed
