About The Position
ARDE Inc., the U.S. leader in manufacturing pressure vessels for space applications, is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will operate manual machines to produce precision components for aerospace applications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience operating manual machining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with aerospace-grade materials such as Inconel and aluminum.
- Knowledge of precision machining techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual lathes, mills to produce aerospace components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Perform inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot manual machining equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to optimize production processes.
