About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring Manual Grinder for 2nd shift. Starting pay range of $26.00-$30.00/hour plus $2.00 shift differential.

Requirements

One year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
Minimum experience required is 1-3 years
Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers.
Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
Must be able to set up the grinder
Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
Must be able to hold tolerances of +/- .0002.

Responsibilities

Set up manual grinder machinery.
Operate manual grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
Move completed material to next workstation.
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs.
Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
Work independently and as a team member.
