Requirements

Proven experience in mainframe development with proficiency in COBOL, JCL, and VSAM
Familiarity with IBM z/OS mainframe environments and tools such as ISPF and SDSF
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

Experience with DB2, IMS, or CICS is a strong plus

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and related technologies
Analyze and troubleshoot complex mainframe systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable mainframe solutions
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe programs
Support batch processing, job scheduling, and mainframe infrastructure operations
Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and legacy modernization initiatives
Document technical specifications, workflows, and system changes
