About The Position
AlphaBEST is seeking enthusiastic After School Mandarin Enrichment Instructors fluent in Mandarin to share their passion for the language with elementary students. This role is for individuals who want to be role models and inspire wonder, helping students connect to a world of possibilities. The position is located at College Park Elementary within the Newport-Mesa Unified School District and involves teaching Mandarin language and culture to students in grades 1-6.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in the Mandarin language in both spoken and written form.
- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Mandarin instruction.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly Mandarin lesson instruction and culture to elementary-aged students.
- Pre and post-testing implementation to evaluate student progress.
- Lesson preparation and clean-up.
- Effective communication with site leadership.
- All other duties as reasonably assigned.
