About The Position
FindTutors is expanding its team of language tutors and is seeking an enthusiastic Mandarin Chinese Tutor. This flexible remote role supports students across the UK in improving their Mandarin Chinese and building confidence in real-world communication. The tutor works with learners at different levels, from beginners to advanced students, helping them develop fluency, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural understanding. The role offers flexible working hours, remote work from anywhere in the UK, and pay of £20–£40 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of or fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
- Good communication skills and patience.
- Passion for teaching and language learning.
- No previous tutoring experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver online Mandarin Chinese tutoring sessions.
- Help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Support learners with homework, revision, and exam preparation, including GCSE Chinese or HSK.
- Adapt lessons to each student’s level and learning goals.
- Encourage confidence, motivation, and consistent language progress.
