About The Position

Language Trainers is seeking a Mandarin Chinese Teacher for a client in Chicago, United States. This is a one-to-one, general course with a total of 22 hours, consisting of two-hour sessions. The classes will be held at the student's location in Chicago, 60623. The student is a beginner, aged 18-24, and the schedule is once per week, on Wednesday or Thursday between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. The course is set to begin as soon as possible. The student's motivation for learning Mandarin Chinese includes a general interest in languages, appreciation for the culture, and a desire to communicate with Chinese people in their native language.

Requirements

• Native Mandarin Chinese speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 20 miles of Chicago, 60623.
• Ability to provide CV with references.
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized language training to a beginner student.
• Conduct one-to-one Mandarin Chinese lessons.
• Travel to the student's location in Chicago for sessions.
