About The Position

Serving as a trusted advisor to multinational clients on environmental compliance strategies, this role drives technical excellence and quality across projects involving air permitting, hazardous waste, and regulatory audits. The position involves mentoring teams, fostering collaboration to deliver best-in-class solutions, and influencing operational improvements that shape industry standards for compliance and sustainability. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance, permitting, and auditing
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and building collaborative teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for client engagement
  • Ability to travel up to 20% regionally and occasionally nationally
  • Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to multinational clients on environmental compliance strategies
  • Drive technical excellence and quality across projects involving air permitting, hazardous waste, and regulatory audits
  • Mentor teams and foster collaboration to deliver best-in-class solutions
  • Influence operational improvements that shape industry standards for compliance and sustainability
  • Provide technical expertise and oversight on hazardous waste, hazardous materials, and compliance projects
  • Manage project execution, including budgeting, QA/QC, and regulatory assessments
  • Lead development of compliance plans, permits, and reports (air, EPCRA, SPCC, stormwater, NPDES, wastewater)
  • Conduct environmental audits and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with ERM subject matter experts to deliver integrated solutions
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain scope, budget, and schedule expectations
  • Support ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers in delivering high-quality outcomes
