This Managing Project Manager will led complex, multi-disciplinary, software or hardware projects from conception to launch, acting as the technical glue between engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, leveraging Google Cloud and Data Platform tools.

Requirements

• Experience in project management within a technical domain (software development or hardware).
• Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers regarding system architecture and technical trade-offs.
• Experience driving initiatives, defining roadmaps, and providing visibility into project health (metrics/data).
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a track record of driving results across large teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the project/engagement/contract/activity on a daily basis and are responsible for delivering high-quality results within the identified objectives and constraints, ensuring the effective use of the allocated resources.
• Responsible for risk and issue management, project/engagement communication and stakeholder management.
• Perform the activities of planning, organising, securing, monitoring and managing the resources and work necessary to deliver specific project goals and objectives in an effective and efficient way.
• Responsible for leading either a large contractor engagement or a definable segment of a very large and complex contractor engagement.
• Responsible for the translation of the clients complex business requirements into formal agreements.
• Establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results.
• Working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the clients solution.
• Responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.
