About The Position

PCRM Alberta is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to join our Edmonton clinic as Managing Director. This role represents a critical leadership position at the intersection of clinical excellence and operational performance. Working in close partnership with the Medical Director and physician group, the Managing Director is accountable for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care through strong operational alignment, governance, and leadership. As the senior administrative leader of the clinic, you will be responsible for aligning people, processes, and infrastructure with clinical priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives. You will lead all non-clinical functions of the clinic while supporting clinical governance, quality assurance, and long-term strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience, preferably within healthcare or a regulated environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinic, medical practice, or similar setting
  • Post-secondary education in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fertility or reproductive medicine is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Medical Director and clinical leadership to support patient safety, quality assurance, and clinical governance
  • Ensure compliance with CPSA standards and the Non-Hospital Medical and Surgical Facilities Accreditation Program
  • Support incident review processes and continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide oversight of day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service excellence
  • Identify operational risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Drive continuous improvement in patient access, experience, and performance outcomes
  • Lead recruitment, development, and performance management of administrative teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration
  • Partner with clinical leaders to align workforce planning with patient care needs
  • Work with the VP for budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation
  • Promote financial stewardship while maintaining excellence in patient care
  • Support data-driven decision-making and long-term planning
  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and well-functioning clinical environment
  • Day-to-day vendor relations, contract management, and oversee clinic infrastructure projects
  • Support clinic growth and evolving service needs
