About The Position

CIBC World Markets Corp. seeks a Managing Director, US Origination, Government Solutions Group, to advise, structure, and originate debt securities across a range of government and public sector issuers. Execute transactions for high-quality liquid assets in both the public and private placement markets. Collaborate with issuers and investors to increase product and currency suite for government and public sector issuers. Develop strategic relationships with leaders of international financial organizations to expand product and currency solution mandates across government and public sector issuers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a directly related field
• 3 years of experience with capital markets products and financial regulatory requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with advising on public sector debt capital markets origination
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with executing over-the-counter interest rate derivatives in single and cross-currency markets
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with overseeing syndication processes for public sector issuers
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with analyzing cross-market implications and arbitrage opportunities
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s)
• Where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit
