About The Position

The Managing Director serves as the executive face of Fenix24 within the cyber incident response community. This individual is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding executive relationships across cyber insurance carriers, brokers, breach coaches, law firms, digital forensics firms, incident response providers, and strategic technology partners. Unlike a traditional sales role, success is built on trust, responsiveness, executive engagement, and long-term partnership development. The Managing Director works closely with executive leadership to ensure Fenix24 remains the preferred recovery partner during cyber incidents while identifying opportunities to expand relationships into proactive cyber resilience programs. This role bridges reactive incident response with proactive resilience, helping partners and clients move beyond recovery toward measurable operational readiness.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, cyber insurance, digital forensics, legal services, or enterprise technology.
  • Demonstrated experience managing executive-level customer or partner relationships.
  • Strong understanding of ransomware response, cyber recovery, and incident response operations.
  • Executive presence with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience navigating complex enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Comfortable working with executive leadership during high-pressure cyber incidents.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40–50%.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing relationships within cyber insurance, breach response, DFIR, or legal communities.
  • Experience working with MSSPs, security vendors, or enterprise cybersecurity organizations.
  • Knowledge of ransomware recovery, disaster recovery, backup technologies, identity recovery, or operational resilience.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with cyber insurance carriers, brokers, law firms, digital forensics firms, incident response firms, and strategic technology partners.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for assigned partners.
  • Develop long-term strategic account plans for each partner organization.
  • Conduct regular executive business reviews to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent Fenix24 at industry conferences, executive briefings, and partner events.
  • Drive referral growth through trusted partner relationships.
  • Coordinate closely with internal incident response leadership during active engagements.
  • Ensure partners receive exceptional communication throughout every engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve partner experience and operational alignment.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic account planning.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce clients to Fenix24's proactive service portfolio including: Recoverability Intelligence Assessments (RIA), Argos99, Resiliency Operations Center (ROC), Managed Recovery Readiness services
  • Work alongside Sales Engineering and Technical SMEs to position proactive offerings following incident response engagements.
  • Help partners understand how proactive resilience reduces future claim severity and operational risk.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Risk Executives, General Counsel, claims executives, breach coaches, and executive leadership.
  • Understand each partner's business objectives and align Fenix24 capabilities accordingly.
  • Identify emerging market trends and communicate competitive intelligence to executive leadership.
  • Participate in executive strategy sessions regarding partner programs and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with Incident Response Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Executive Leadership.
  • Support development of strategic partnership programs.
  • Assist in creating repeatable partner engagement processes.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and executive account plans within Salesforce.
