About The Position

As the Managing Director, School Operations at Bold, you will drive a culture of achievement that actualizes Bold’s vision for a world-class K-12 public education—preparing every student to succeed at the highest levels in college and beyond. You will join a team guided by the belief that building world-class schools depends on delivering operational excellence and lead a team to ensure that school operations are executed at the highest level across the organization. To help us achieve our vision, we are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a high-performing K-12 setting. Ideal candidates will have a solutions-oriented mindset, the ability to coach teams to high levels of achievement, and a foundational belief that every child can succeed when we create a culture that holds everyone—team, students, and families— to high expectations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of operational leadership experience at a high-performing school with a proven track record of success
• 3+ years of team leadership experience, coaching and leading teams to high levels of performance

• Graduate degree in a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply a deep understanding of Bold’s goals, vision, and values to build a culture of purpose and impact
• Design and implement a model for operational excellence that drives progress toward organizational objectives and prepares the organization for successful growth
• Lead and develop high-performing school operations teams to achieve ambitious results, ensuring high levels of collaboration, alignment, and support; design and lead professional learning cycles that accelerate team development and impact
• Strategically manage priorities, communicating regularly and effectively with stakeholders, and demonstrating a high level of ownership and accountability
• Develop strong relationships that meaningfully invest team members in collaborating to achieve shared, ambitious outcomes
