Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development, with a significant track record of leading successful transactions.
  • FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in M&A strategy, valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and transaction structuring.
  • Extensive network of client relationships and a proven ability to originate new business.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of M&A transaction execution, including origination, due diligence, valuation, structuring, negotiation, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, private equity firms, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and profitability of the M&A Advisory Group.
  • Provide expert strategic and financial advice to clients across various industries, assessing their needs and developing tailored solutions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Conduct complex financial modeling, valuation analyses, and industry research.
  • Prepare and present compelling pitches, proposals, and transaction-related materials to clients and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Represent Texas Capital Bank at industry events and conferences, enhancing the firm's visibility and reputation.
