About The Position

Aspen Standard Wealth is scaling rapidly through acquisition and is hiring a Managing Director of Growth to help lead the next phase of growth at a founder-led wealth management firm based in Braintree, Massachusetts, serving clients across Greater Boston. This is a growth-focused, relationship-first role, not a functional leadership position. The Managing Director of Growth will take ownership of the firm's growth agenda — sharpening who the firm serves, deepening referral and centers-of-influence relationships, and building a more visible, consistent presence across Boston — while partnering closely with the firm's Founder and Aspen to activate a proven growth playbook. The mandate is clear: build a repeatable growth engine, professionalize how the firm generates and converts new business, and give the founder the freedom to focus where she adds the most value. This role is based in the Braintree, MA area (Greater Boston).

Requirements

• 8–20 years in elite, competitive environments, with a track record of taking on hard jobs and advancing through them; comfortable building where the systems may not exist yet.
• Strong wealth management fluency, paired with the emotional intelligence to serve UHNW or sophisticated clients.
• Experience leading teams while remaining a doer; this role has no room for a pure manager.
• A track record of personal accountability for a growth number or target — deal, sales, cross-sell, or equivalent — through some form of trust-based selling: client success, sourcing, pitching, advising, or business development.
• A documented record of improving pipeline conversion or funnel performance, and of personally building or rebuilding a growth engine — a sales team, a cross-sell motion, a new product launch, or similar.
• Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on in a growing firm, and genuinely aligned with MG's culture and the client experience it delivers.
• Growth strategy and execution — you can ignite, build, and run a growth engine.
• Network-driven relationship building — you turn networks and referrals into durable new business.
• Doer, builder, project driver — you get things done and build systems that scale.
• Strategic decision making — you cut through ambiguity to the right call.
• Financial literacy — you tie decisions back to a target.

Responsibilities

• Define and continually refine the firm's ideal client — who we most want to serve, the problems we solve for them, and what makes them the right choice — and use that to shape their website, messaging, networking, and marketing.
• Track and manage the growth pipeline with a simple, disciplined process for referrals, prospects, follow-ups, and conversions.
• Own a content and thought leadership strategy — practical insights, educational content, and client-focused stories on LinkedIn and other channels that show the firm's expertise.
• Lead targeted events and community engagement — small educational gatherings, client appreciation events, and strategic networking that create natural opportunities for introductions.
• Work directly with Aspen's internal teams on lead conversion and prospecting, putting the Aspen Growth System's tools and support to work in a way that fits the pipeline and client base.
• Install a durable revenue process — pipeline hygiene, stage definitions, conversion measurement, and a review cadence that survives a busy quarter.
• Build simple, durable systems in place of individual heroics, so growth and knowledge aren't concentrated in one person.
• Carry personal accountability for a revenue and conversion target in year one, and be ready to close or co-close live opportunities yourself rather than routing them to others.
• Diagnose where revenue is moving slowly across the firm — pipeline depth, referral concentration, client concentration risk — and work the controllable levers first.
