About The Position

Infinity Constellation is seeking a Managing Director to found and lead its Forensic Accounting business unit in the United States. The Managing Director will be the credentialed expert accountable for the work and the relationship-holder for referring attorneys. The role involves building a practice designed to manage a larger caseload per practitioner, with Infinity’s technology platform and engineering and product teams helping reduce manual work. The role is entrepreneurial: the Managing Director will shape the service offering, team, and tooling roadmap, and share directly in the value created. Forensic accounting work spans accounting and litigation, including investigations of financial records and explaining findings to attorneys, courts, and clients. Engagements may include business valuation for sales, divorce settlements, or disputes, and commonly come through attorney referral relationships. The Managing Director will lead the business unit end to end, originate and grow client engagements, deliver and sign off on expert work, guide automation tools, establish quality standards for defensible court-ready work, build a lean team, and collaborate with other Infinity business unit leaders. Compensation includes a market base salary, uncapped variable compensation tied to revenue generated, and an equity grant in Infinity.

Requirements

  • Be a credentialed forensic accounting practitioner with deep experience delivering litigation support, fraud and financial investigation, and/or business valuation.
  • Have expert-witness experience.
  • Have genuine existing relationships with referring attorneys who will follow you, or the credibility to build that referral book quickly.
  • Be a senior practitioner ready to build a practice, or an independent practitioner seeking Infinity’s backbone, tooling, and capital to expand capacity.
  • Be comfortable building a practice from the ground up and motivated to rebuild the firm itself rather than build software to sell to existing firms.
  • Be based in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • A clear point of view on which parts of forensic accounting work—such as data entry, document review, and report assembly—should move to an AI-driven workflow first.
  • Experience as a senior non-partner practitioner or as an independent practitioner.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Forensic Accounting business unit, including its strategy, client relationships, quality, and financial performance.
  • Bring existing attorney relationships and referral networks to Infinity and expand them into engagements in forensic investigation and business valuation.
  • Conduct analysis and make strategic judgments on matters; sign off on expert work, including reports and testimony where required.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to define automation for converting discovery documents, bank records, and financial statements into structured data and generating templated reports.
  • Define standards for defensible, court-ready work and review and validate AI-assisted output before it is delivered to clients.
  • Hire and develop supporting staff as caseload grows while keeping the team deliberately lean.
  • Partner with other business unit leaders on cross-selling to shared clients as Infinity’s portfolio grows.

Benefits

  • Market base salary.
  • Uncapped variable compensation tied to revenue generated.
  • Equity grant in Infinity.
  • Infinity’s platform and teams handle HR, accounting, finance, and data-processing work.
  • Dedicated engineering and product resources to build tools for the practice.
