The position also focuses on enhancing client service, improving business development and marketing methods, and staying informed about industry trends and firm operations. The Managing Director is expected to identify opportunities for improvement, bring issues to leadership attention, and establish strategic and operational performance at all levels. This role requires partnering with leadership on strategic planning, financial performance, growth, and overall success, while executing revenue, profitability, and growth strategies. Driving business unit operations for efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective resource management is key. Evaluating and refining sales and service strategies to enhance the client experience and increase sales velocity and client retention is also a primary function. Building and sustaining a high-performance culture through attracting, developing, and retaining a motivated team is crucial. The role involves reviewing key performance indicators and financial statements to track progress and adjust objectives as needed. Establishing and ensuring the development of annual business unit operating budgets is required. The Managing Director will represent the firm at industry events and build a network of clients, prospects, and industry contacts.
