We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Managing Director, Client Executive to join our Global Client Management team. This role is located in New York City, New York. This role will join our Asia Pacific Global Client Management desk in New York, covering our largest and most strategically important APAC relationships across the United States, UK, Europe and other international markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years in global leadership for relationship management, sales, client services, or account management in the financial services industry.
  • Recognized as an expert in the APAC region with strong understanding of client coverage functions and established relationships at the C-suite level.
  • Experience in leading global teams focused on sales, relationship management, and business development across geographies.
  • Fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the coverage leader for a defined client franchise, ensuring enterprise focus and execution on top strategic priorities that yield profitable growth.
  • Develops an enterprise-wide strategic plan to manage and grow existing client relationships and originate new opportunities, driving profitable growth.
  • Leverages thought leadership and deep industry understanding to proactively identify opportunities and engage clients, prospects, and partners; authors thought leadership to enhance the firm’s brand.
  • Promotes firm services and product offerings that solve clients’ most important challenges; evaluates and influences deal structure and terms to optimize outcomes for the client and BNY.
