About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 11+ years or more of relevant audit experience
  • Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to travel for client engagements and internal meetings. Travel may include overnight stays.

  • Master's Degree in related field
  • Experience with Caseware software for financial reporting and audit documentation

Responsibilities

  • Direct audit engagements with strategic oversight, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and alignment with client and firm objectives.
  • Advise on complex GAAP and regulatory matters, guiding clients through financial reporting challenges and ensuring firm-wide technical excellence.
  • Lead technical research and thought leadership, translating complex issues into actionable insights and elevating firm capabilities through publications and training.
  • Ensure audit quality through high-level review of workpapers, reinforcing risk awareness, documentation integrity, and professional standards.
  • Present to audit committees and boards with clarity and strategic insight, influencing governance and financial decision-making.
  • Foster executive client relationships, delivering value-driven solutions and acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders.
  • Champion client service excellence, embedding a client-first culture and driving long-term partnerships.
  • Mentor and lead high-performing teams, supporting talent development, succession planning, and a collaborative firm culture.
  • Oversee engagement execution and resource optimization, ensuring timely delivery, profitability, and workflow efficiency.
  • Drive firm growth through strategic planning, business development, and market expansion initiatives.
  • Represent the firm externally, enhancing visibility and identifying new opportunities through industry engagement.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory trends via ongoing CPE and technical development, ensuring firm readiness and innovation.
