About The Position
Women owned law firm operating in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Florida A high volume, fast-paced, multi-office law firm representing Mortgage Lenders, Banks and Financial Institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction and REO Nationally recognized industry leaders in the legal default servicing space Seeking a Managing Attorney for our Virginia office The ideal candidate will be personable with a leadership background and five to eight years’ Virginia creditors’ rights experience Equity share opportunity after a year for the right candidate We are looking for someone who proactively and efficiently handles their workload with a focus on producing excellent work Remote opportunity available
Requirements
- Previous management experience
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership across firm
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills to communicate with other attorneys, staff and clients
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to handle a large volume of cases with speed and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Attending hearings and status conferences
- Interacting with clients, opposing counsel and MWC team members
- Providing creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk
