About The Position

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Manager in New York, New York, within Package and Technology Enablement | Package Functional Transformation. The role manages information technology projects through the transition from on-premise environments to cloud-based solutions, covering cloud messaging, connectivity, strategy, operating model transformation, development, integration and APIs, migration, infrastructure and engineering, and managed services. It also manages the design and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data using cloud platforms.

The Manager manages interactions with executives and sponsors, maintains relationships with senior decision makers, contributes to proposal development and pricing strategies, and serves as a counselor and coach. The role also supports recruitment and retention, leads and supports delivery teams and local office staff, and promotes internal process improvements and knowledge sharing through communities of practice, blogs, and other market eminence activities. National travel of 50% is required; telecommuting is permitted.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field, and at least 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or a related occupation; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience creating innovative cloud-based technology solutions and IT visions, strategies, and roadmaps, using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Azure.
• At least 3 years of experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements with client stakeholders and translating requirements into project designs, using Azure and PowerPoint.
• At least 3 years of experience tracking and reporting project and milestone deliverable status and communicating updates, using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• At least 3 years of experience coordinating cross-functional onshore and offshore project team members, using Azure Dashboard, Miro Board, SaFe Agile, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and MS Teams.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and delivering user manuals and training, using Microsoft Office, Visio, and Figma.
• At least 3 years of experience monitoring and reporting project statuses, risks, and dependencies, using Azure Dashboards and PowerPoint.
• At least 3 years of experience mapping current and future-state business service flows for online application design, using Visio, PowerPoint, and Word.
• At least 3 years of experience designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud ecosystems for enterprise applications and integrating on-premise and cloud applications, using Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud, ETL Informatica, and Mulesoft.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT project journeys from on-premise environments to cloud environments across cloud messaging, connectivity, strategy, operating model transformation, development, integration and APIs, migration, infrastructure and engineering, and managed services.
• Manage design and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data using cloud-based platforms.
• Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers.
• Manage and lead aspects of proposal development and contribute to proposal pricing strategies.
• Serve as a counselor and coach, participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
• Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing through contributions to communities of practice, blogs, and other market eminence activities.
• Create cloud-based technology solutions, IT visions, strategies, and roadmaps.
• Gather and analyze functional and technical requirements with client stakeholders and translate them into project designs.
• Track and report project and milestone deliverable status and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
