About The Position

The Manager owns delivery across a portfolio of clients and leads the team delivery model supporting them. This desk-based, remote-capable role is responsible for the quality and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual after-the-fact accounting engagements, client relationships, portfolio financial performance, and day-to-day team direction. The Manager reviews and approves financial statements and workpaper packages, oversees preparation and compilation engagements, and manages cleanup, catch-up, and multi-period reconstruction work. The role also provides advisory services, develops team capability, coordinates onshore and Mumbai delivery, and contributes to client growth and firm activities. Success is measured by portfolio quality and timeliness, budget and realization performance, effective review and coaching, strong client retention, seamless teamwork, and thoughtful identification of growth opportunities. The position requires the ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures in a fully paperless environment. Additional hours may be needed during close, cleanup engagements, and tax-season peaks, with occasional travel to client or firm locations.

  • Administrator-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, plus working proficiency in Xero, Sage 50, or another client-side accounting platform.
  • Strong project management, review, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and cultures in a fully paperless environment.
  • Availability for additional hours during close, cleanup engagements, and tax-season peaks, with occasional travel to client or firm locations.
