About The Position

TransUnion is seeking Managers for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. (HQ: Chicago, IL). This role involves managing and supporting technical teams, facilitating training with product experts, and ensuring successful software integration with regional partner teams. Managers will create performance goals in line with established strategic direction, conduct performance reviews, and lead quality assurance testing and analysis of software applications for the full Lifecycle. The position also entails managing multiple projects, process improvements, and documenting issues from software testing. Key responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise in areas such as Agile, SAFe, software development lifecycle, and business analysis, as well as facilitating technical training to ensure teams adhere to established software development practices. Communication of software development and testing status with upper management is also required. The technical environment includes Project management, process improvement and full Software Development Lifecycle and quality assurance experience with architectural patterns, Agile/SAFe/Scrum methodologies; Specflow, Splunk, Jenkins (CI/CD), Octopus, SQL Server, Rally, .Net, C#, Ab Initio, Putty, FileZilla, WINSCP, and Toad for Oracle. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any Engineering field or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in software quality assurance
  • Project management, process improvement and full Software Development Lifecycle and quality assurance experience with architectural patterns, Agile/SAFe/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with Specflow, Splunk, Jenkins (CI/CD), Octopus, SQL Server, Rally, .Net, C#, Ab Initio, Putty, FileZilla, WINSCP, Toad for Oracle
