About The Position

The International Mission Board, a nonprofit religious organization headquartered in Richmond, VA, is accepting ongoing applications in search of a Manager, Workday HCM Services! Hours: Full-time, exempt Location: Remote The Manager, Workday HCM Services drives organizational impact by leading a high‑performing team of Workday experts who unlock the full power of the HCM module across diverse departments, delivering best‑practice solutions and efficient business processes on schedule. In this role, you will partner with other Workday managers and department heads, facilitate a unified strategy, and plan for change requests, enhancements, and releases. You will own complex incidents and projects that demand deep expertise, coordinating efforts with key stakeholders and serving as the go‑to escalation point for critical functional issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years working with Workday HCM, including configuration, reporting, and support.
• Experience contributing to long‑term Workday roadmap planning and aligning functional priorities with executive goal
• Skilled at diagnosing complex functional issues and ability to develop and implement solutions that improve accuracy, productivity, and user experience
• 3+ years in people management, preferred
• Proven experience partnering with department heads, technology teams, and external Workday experts to align strategy and drive consensus.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder‑management abilities and commitment to fostering a collaborative, high‑performance team culture
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Workday HCM certifications (Workday HCM Core, Report Builder, or Business Process), preferred
• Deep knowledge of Workday HCM modules to include Core HR, Payroll, Talent, Time‑Tracking, preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with Technology Solutions and other Workday teams to provide technical system support, including implementation, configuration, data loads, report writing, support of integration design and management.
• Provide support for security administration and user management, planning for and testing new features and upgrades while ensuring all quality and change control standards are met.
• Manage the Workday Roadmap for the HCM module, working in conjunction with functional department leads to prioritize change requests, enhancements, break/fixes, and release testing.
• Represent executive-level expectations and collaborate with department heads to develop long-term Workday strategy, developing solutions for complex business problems from strategy to execution.
• Manage the implementation of new Workday solutions, capabilities and applications that yield intuitive and trusted user experiences, seeking opportunities to simplify processes and improve accuracy and productivity.
• Manage the Workday HCM Services team, overseeing all functional work streams and providing direction and guidance to team members.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities including hiring, performance, and development of team members.
