Moog’s Corporate HR Technology Team is looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Workday HCM Lead to join them! As the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) Lead, you will serve as the primary functional expert for Moog’s global HCM system within Workday. You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining core HR processes such as hiring, job changes, terminations, position management, and organizational updates. You will ensure that Workday functionality aligns with business requirements and compliance standards while driving system enhancements and supporting global HR operations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with deep Workday expertise and a strong understanding of HR processes. This individual thrives in a global environment, demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining compliance and delivering high-quality HR technology solutions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Workday HCM configuration; at least five (5) years’ experience Workday HCM configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and employee support best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, influencing and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet critical HR deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with case management platforms such as Workday Help, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
  • An understanding of global HR processes and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the configuration of Workday Core HCM modules to meet evolving business needs, including position management and organizational changes.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Payroll and other stakeholders to implement system upgrades, enhancements, and new features.
  • Conduct rigorous testing of system changes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to Moog audit standards.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and perform regular compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate Workday release updates, communicate enhancements and bug fixes to CoEs, and develop deployment plans.
  • Deliver training sessions for managers and employees, create job aids, and provide ongoing support for Workday functionality and best practices.
  • Collaborate with reporting teams to build and analyze Workday reports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of functional data and actionable insights.
  • Assist in managing the Workday Help queue, ensuring tickets are prioritized and resolved promptly.
  • Uphold confidentiality and data security standards for all HR-related information.
