About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Manager, Web Applications Technology. This role involves designing and developing solutions for complex business requirements by creating content-driven applications and utilities. The position requires creating proof of concepts and models using programming languages, content management systems, and web application frameworks. It also involves proposing design changes, recommending new designs for legacy software applications, performing root cause analysis on recurring issues, and preparing visual representations of change requests and features. The role includes designing website architecture, recommending solutions to complex business problems, and performing customizations in the product to enable code and configuration reusability. A key responsibility is defining and designing the data layer on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to connect with external systems and coordinating with business personnel to overcome blockers. Telecommuting is permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, and five (5) years of post-bachelor’s, progressive, work experience as a Web Developer or related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of experience with developing multilingual websites and building digital asset management.
  • Five (5) years of experience with creating applications on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and hosting on Adobe managed AWS core platform.
  • Five (5) years of experience with web frameworks and programming languages such as Java, OSGI, CF/EF, Dispatcher, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, JSP, Angular and Web API.
  • Five (5) years of experience with connecting the data layer on AEM with external systems like AWS, Hybris, or JCR repository.
  • Five (5) years of experience with legacy software applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop solutions for complex business requirement by creating content driven application/utilities.
  • Create proof of concepts and models using programming language, content management system and web applications framework.
  • Propose design changes and recommend new design for legacy software applications.
  • Perform root cause analysis on redundant issues and provide permanent solutions.
  • Prepare visual representation of change requests and features.
  • Design website architecture and recommend solutions to the complex business problems.
  • Perform customization in the product to enable reusability of the code and configuration.
  • Define and design data layer on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to connect with external systems.
  • Coordinate with business personnels to overcome any blockers.
