About The Position

Our Kingsville Distribution Center, a 150,000 sq. ft. refrigerated facility operating 24/7, is currently seeking an Warehouse Manager to join our team. The essential function of this position is to provide exceptional customer support through ensuring the accuracy of inventory movement and warehousing. Accuracy in both receiving and inventory are paramount. This role will perform quality inspections on all inbound product to ensure that product meets grower specifications and Mastronardi Produce Specification requirements.

Requirements

  • College degree required.
  • Three years of related warehouse supervisor experience required.
  • Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.
  • Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
  • Highly proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state and federal laws and requirements to maintain compliance to all relevant statues and guiding principles.
  • NAV experience of shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish as a second language would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day supervision of staff, and overseeing work organized by team leaders.
  • Monitors status of incoming orders with logistics.
  • Ensures changes are made with Production schedules.
  • Administers quality inspection of all incoming product.
  • Makes sure all skids going/leaving racks are stacked properly.
  • Ensures product is slotted/shipped correctly.
  • Follow commodity specialist allocations and change orders.
  • Ensures receiving/shipping work together to fill orders in a timely fashion.
  • Understands the process of entering pick tickets in NAV.
  • Trains staff and monitors their performance and progress.
  • Overseeing inventory control and processing orders; oversees quality control during shift.
  • Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
  • Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
  • Carrying out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems.
  • Responding to and dealing with commodity managers (sales).
  • Keeping stock control systems up-to-date.
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
  • Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
  • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
  • Tracks trailers in yard.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other Company data, including personnel information.
