About The Position

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, material flow, and equipment management. This role involves leading a team of warehouse technicians and forklift operators, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, and meeting operational targets for cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with proficiency in logistics software and experience in managing warehouse staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 5+ years working experience as a Logistics and/or Warehouse Supervisor
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proficient in standard production planning, logistics software
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Minimum experience 5 – 10 years

Nice To Haves

  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
  • Oracle experience preferred
  • Previous experience in Automotive and OEM preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receiving: Reconcile incoming items with purchase orders/RMAs, receive core, new, and warranty items in Oracle, and move/transfer items to proper locations. Communicate with relevant departments and external partners to resolve issues and maintain receiving records.
  • Shipping: Supervise outgoing item packing, generate product and shipping labels, and coordinate pickups with logistics partners. Arrange item pickups from vendors, customers, and sister plants.
  • Warehouse Equipment: Ensure proper material handling equipment is available and operated by certified personnel. Schedule equipment repairs and coordinate the purchasing and installation of warehouse racks and shelves. Ensure proper labeling of warehouse rows, racks, and bins, and create new bin locations as needed.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Perform cycle counts, recommend adjustments, and lead the annual physical inventory count. Coordinate the timely disposal of scrap and E&O material.
  • Material Flow: Ensure accuracy of material flow transactions (in and out of warehouse). Supervise raw material picks for assembly and FG picks for shipping.
  • Leadership: Supervise, coach, and train warehouse technicians and forklift operators. Train personnel on the safe operation of material handling equipment. Propose appropriate inventory levels for equipment spare parts and consumables. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Other Duties: Perform various duties as needed.
