About The Position
Performs all duties necessary in the coordination of the hospital volunteer program. Responsible for interviewing, orienting, training and supervising all volunteers. Coordinates the on-boarding process and is involved in multiple department projects. Directs volunteer programs and services in effort to enhance and grow community partnerships and internal stakeholder relationships that support overall excellence with patient, visitor, and staff experiences.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license (class F)
- Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience working with or supervising volunteers
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of recent healthcare experience
- Customer and community service experience
