About The Position

BDO Canada is looking for a Manager to join the US Corporate Tax Services team in Calgary. This role involves identifying, developing, and implementing strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities for cross-border operations. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations and tax returns, leading US Tax engagements for partnership, trust, and corporate clients, building positive client relationships, participating in business development, and communicating effectively with team members. The role also includes training staff and investing in their professional development.

Requirements

  • Completed Canadian or US CPA designation.
  • Years of experience in public accounting with experience supporting US Tax clients.
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate and trust tax planning, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
