About The Position

The Manager, US Card Acquisitions, is a member of the U.S. Co-brand Card Acquisitions team and plays a key role in driving growth across the Marriott Bonvoy® American Express® Card portfolio. This position supports the development, execution, optimization, and measurement of acquisition marketing initiatives across Marriott-owned, partner, and paid channels. The role will work closely with senior team members, bank partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders to execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive card acquisitions and support broader portfolio growth objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented marketer with great attention to detail and strong project management, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills who can successfully operate in a highly regulated marketing environment.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related major
  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience demonstrating progressive career growth and a track record of strong performance
  • Experience managing and executing cross-functional marketing, technology, or business initiatives in a large, matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience with project management, communication, and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Support acquisition marketing efforts for the Marriott Bonvoy® American Express® Card portfolio across Marriott-owned, partner, and paid channels, including Marriott.com, mobile, email, paid media, and on-property marketing.
  • Develop marketing briefs and partner with agencies and internal teams to execute campaigns accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage day-to-day campaign execution, quality assurance, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and business results.
  • Support new product launches, offer updates, and other strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret campaign performance data and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop test plans and support optimization efforts across acquisition channels.
  • Evaluate campaign, channel, and audience performance to inform future marketing strategies.
  • Translate business and customer insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and evolving customer behavior to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with bank partners, agencies, and cross-functional Marriott stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Brand, Loyalty, Digital, and Operations teams to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Support alignment across stakeholders to drive execution of acquisition marketing initiatives and business priorities.
  • Partner with agencies and vendors to manage project execution, invoicing, licensing, and ongoing performance management.
  • Support execution of Marriott's on-property co-brand acquisition strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate card marketing throughout the guest journey.
  • Coordinate development and distribution of acquisition marketing collateral with agencies, bank partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze on-property performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Support testing and personalization initiatives designed to improve acquisition performance.
  • Evaluate emerging marketing channels, technologies, and acquisition opportunities.
  • Support implementation of new capabilities that enhance the customer acquisition journey.
  • Provide recommendations on innovative approaches to improve acquisition performance and customer engagement.
