About The Position
The Manager Trauma System Registry will provide leadership and management for the trauma system registry. Ensures that all regulatory and accreditation requirements and standards are met including Colorado/Kansas Department of Public Health and Environment and the American College of Surgeons requirements. This position is open to remote/out of state candidates residing in only these states: Alabama- Arizona- Arkansas- Colorado - Florida- Georgia - Idaho- Indiana - Iowa- Kansas - Kentucky- Louisiana Missouri- Mississippi- Nebraska- New Mexico - Nevada - North Carolina - Ohio- Oklahoma- South Carolina South Dakota- Tennessee- Texas- Utah - Virginia- West Virginia - Wyoming
Requirements
- Certified Specialist in Trauma Registries required
- Bachelor’s degree Nursing/Healthcare related field required or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of previous leadership experience required.
- 5 years trauma registrar/coding experience required.
- Have a track record of meeting and exceeding key performance metrics
Nice To Haves
- Master Degree Nursing Preferred Nursing or other related graduate field of study highly desirable.
- QI or data management experience is highly desirable
