About The Position

This role oversees the coordination and movement of fixtures, equipment, materials, and supplies to project sites to ensure execution aligns with project timelines, budget expectations, and operational goals. The position provides both tactical and strategic support in transportation planning, vendor management, performance tracking, and issue resolution. The Manager works cross-functionally with Store Development, Construction, Procurement, Distribution Centers, and external logistics partners to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service levels. This individual will play a key role in developing transportation metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Experience with WMS or similar systems.
Ability to learn new tools quickly.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Uses basic math skills and maintains a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
Effectively solves problems, identifies business needs, and takes proactive action.
Works independently with minimal supervision, manages multiple priorities, and adapts well to change.
Communicates clearly, tactfully, and professionally—both verbally and in writing—with associates, vendors, and leaders.

Responsibilities

Ensures execution aligns with project timelines, budget expectations, and operational goals.
Provides tactical and strategic support in transportation planning, vendor management, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
Works cross-functionally with Store Development, Construction, Procurement, Distribution Centers, and external logistics partners to drive efficiencies, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
Develops transportation metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Follows all company standard operating procedures to maintain work integrity, safety, and optimal production output.
Complies with all Company, state, and OSHA safety rules and regulations, including proper attire, and promptly reports actual or potential safety concerns.
Trains floor associates on department-preferred methods and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Proactively follows direction from Shift Coordinators, management, and cross-functional partners while supporting a collaborative work environment.
Maintains a flexible schedule and works assigned shifts and overtime as required by business needs, including Put, Pack, Pick, and PND functions.
Provides high-quality internal and external customer service, conducts research, performs administrative tasks, and submits WMS tickets to resolve system issues.
Puts away, scans, and accurately places items from PND to pick locations to support inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Provides clear direction, priorities, and expectations aligned with business goals.
Leads day-to-day team operations, ensuring work is executed efficiently.
Provides ongoing coaching and real-time feedback.
