Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in a relevant role
Responsibilities
- Assures compliance of safety standards and that organizational objectives dictated by management are followed.
- Manages the transportation budget and makes certain funds are properly utilized.
- Manages databases that detail transport activities, financial accountings, employee schedules, and personnel records.
- Screens, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action
- Trains staff in department policies and procedures, and shares information about new laws or technological advances.
- Serves as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints.
- Allocates driver assignments.
- Manages insurance claims
- Manages transport damages
- Coordinates all warranty claims
- Data driven and reporting of KPI’s
