About The Position
A family-owned, 126-year-old, growing retail furniture operation has an immediate opening for a motivated Management Trainee. Gain valuable hands-on experience in all areas of operations as you advance along an exciting career path. We are looking for hard-working, career-minded people who are serious about making an excellent income. This is an aggressive Management Training Program with significant income potential. The applicant is eligible for up to $5,000 in bonuses upon completion of the program. Training location will be in Farmville, VA and Lynchburg, VA.
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to an hour, or further, as needed.
Responsibilities
- Handling customer complaints and service matters with consultation and approval from the store manager
- Operational leadership of the store in the absence of the store manager
- Maintain proper floor display in all areas of the store
- Maintain proper price tagging of all merchandise
- Monitor the business builder program
- Assist in making sales
- Maintain good communications with customers
- Place orders for all repair/replacement parts from vendors
- Assist store manager whenever needed
