About The Position

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) provides local rental solutions to customers outside airport hubs. The Manager Trainee supports location performance, develops leadership skills, and prepares for potential promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. The role provides exposure to sales, customer service, fleet logistics, store operations, vehicle and facility care, finance, administration, and leadership development in a fast-paced environment. The starting wage is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Presentable attire.
• Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
• Assist with store operations and compliance.
• Help clean and prepare vehicles for customers, manage the lot, and provide customer service assistance.
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
• Shadow and support management in daily operations.
• Develop skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
• Participate in structured training to prepare for future leadership roles.
• Learn how the role contributes to the company's overall financial wellbeing.
