About The Position

Reporting to the VP, HR Operations, the Manager, People Operations is a team leader that supports cross-functional HR transactions, process efficiency and execution, employee experiences, and interactions with HR at L3Harris Technologies. This individual is responsible for two PeopleOperations workstreams, driving day-to-day HR operations, employee inquiry management, and knowledge creation and maintenance to support our mission to attract, engage, retain, and develop a talented workforce and enable them to achieve our customer missions and drive improvements for all stakeholders – customers, shareholders and employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's with 9 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 7 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Seven (7+) years of HR generalist or specialist experience with a focus on or passion for HR systems, data integrity, HR transactions, and employee/customer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2+) years of people leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience in project management, change management, and/or continuous improvement is a plus.
  • Experience in and working knowledge of a case management system, ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Experience in and working knowledge of HRIS/HCM system, PeopleSoft is a plus.
  • Experience with collaboration and communication tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong communicator that can synthesize multiple sources of information to create clear, succinct responses.
  • Proven ability in navigating and handling sensitive/confidential HR/employee interactions and data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire two PeopleOperations teams to provide best-in-class HR customer service to employees of L3Harris Technologies, focusing on Mobility & Recognition and Leave & Benefits.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement efficiencies to support HR strategies and align with business goals and drive organizational performance.
  • Build, develop, and maintain standard operating procedures and documentation to ensure efficient and effective daily operations and training for the L3Harris Technologies People Operations team.
  • Act as point of contact for complex inquiry/case escalations by taking the lead on tickets that cannot be answered with existing knowledge base articles or company resources.
  • Work directly with subject matter experts in HR and Non-HR COEs to ensure successful resolution of escalated employee inquiries.
  • Partner with HR Service Excellence team to suggest, prioritize, and test enhancements to HR ServiceNow including the employee portal, catalog items/cases, SLAs and other reporting metrics, and fulfiller dashboards.
  • Support processes and development of HR ServiceNow case tools including the employee portal, catalog items/cases, SLAs and other reporting metrics, and fulfiller dashboards.
  • Lead or assist with leading PeopleOperations special projects, focusing on continuous improvements and operational efficiencies.
