The Manager, Technology Transfer & Post-Award Compliance will manage and advance the NYBCe technology transfer function and enterprise intellectual property portfolio, including innovations arising from therapeutic research in infectious disease, benign hematology, cell therapy, diagnostics, and related life sciences programs. In addition, this role provides post-award administration support to the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), helping ensure sponsored research awards are set up, financially monitored, compliantly reported, and closed out in accordance with sponsor and federal requirements. This role is integral to NYBCe’s strategy to maximize the development, commercialization, patient impact, and value of NYBCe inventions. The Manager will work closely with NYBCe’s investigators and other NYBCe staff, Business Development, Sponsored Programs, the Office of General Counsel, outside patent counsel, industry partners, and other collaborators to evaluate inventions, develop patent and commercialization strategies, negotiate technology-related agreements, and build scalable technology transfer practices. On the post-award side, the Manager will work closely with the Executive Director of Research Administration and the broader Office of Sponsored Programs team to support award setup and account establishment, budget monitoring and financial reporting, subrecipient and compliance monitoring, and award close-out for grants, contracts, and cooperative agreements across NYBCe's sponsor portfolio (federal, state, foundation, and industry).
