About The Position

The (USA) Manager, Technology Operations leads the planning, execution, and oversight of multiple complex technology projects aligned with strategic objectives. This role involves managing program schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation while fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams. The manager ensures effective communication with stakeholders, monitors project progress, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. By applying strong program and financial management expertise, this position supports operational excellence and delivers measurable business outcomes within a dynamic technology environment. About the team: The Catchment Operations team leads the design, accuracy, and governance of Walmart’s store-to-customer catchment network. This team manages and modernizes catchments across the U.S., shifting from legacy ZIP-based models to dynamic, pixel-level coverage while ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards. Their work supports accurate promise fulfillment, flexible sourcing, and efficient last-mile delivery. The team applies strong program and financial management, stakeholder communication, and organizational strategy skills to maintain clean, compliant, and intentional catchments that enhance Walmart’s operational effectiveness and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program management, including planning, estimation, monitoring, and control of medium to high-complexity technology projects.
  • Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, cost monitoring, and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication abilities, capable of influencing and building consensus across teams.
  • Solid understanding of organizational strategy, business operations, and key performance indicators.
  • Ability to assess risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple project modules.
  • Knowledge of technology landscapes and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships through clear communication and consensus-building.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data and promoting adoption of new tools and processes.
  • Provide leadership by mentoring and developing team members while ensuring compliance with company policies.
