About The Position

The Energy & Utilities Technology Advisory Manager leads OT and infrastructure workstreams across the private equity investment lifecycle for energy and utilities assets. The role is suited to a Solutions Architect with deep operational technology experience designing and delivering across IT and OT environments, and knowledge of utility systems, control networks, industrial protocols, and hosting models. The position leads diligence, integration, and value-creation workstreams for transactions involving utilities, power generation, transmission and distribution, renewables platforms, energy services, midstream, and critical infrastructure. It translates technical complexity into actionable financial narratives and partners with target IT and operations teams on Day 1 readiness plans that protect business continuity and deal value. The manager evaluates OT environments and complex hybrid IT/OT architectures; identifies technical debt, regulatory exposure, security gaps, scalability bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve operating costs and reliability; and supports transition planning and post-close modernization. The role also presents findings to executives, leads discovery and site visits, contributes to business development, and owns project scoping, workstream planning, delivery, and consulting-team quality.
