About The Position

This role supports the technology organization by developing and executing internal communication strategies that keep our teams aligned and informed. As a key individual contributor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of messaging, bridging the gap between high-level technology vision and day-to-day execution. You will translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across the company. This role contributes to key business initiatives and major announcements by developing high-quality communication materials—including messaging frameworks, internal briefings, and Q&A documents—that enhance stakeholder engagement. By ensuring a consistent flow of information, you will help the technology organization and the broader enterprise understand the "why" behind our work and the tangible value it delivers to the business. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of experience developing, executing and integrating communications plans OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience developing, executing and integrating communications plans.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience providing counsel, influence and challenge to the thinking of business leaders.
  • Experience writing and editing in AP style.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience leading and completing multiple projects on deadline.
  • At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications and/or English.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience developing, executing and integrating communications plans
  • Experience in the retail pharmacy industry
  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic communications counsel to business leaders to support key initiatives and organizational goals.
  • Develops and executes annual and initiative specific communications strategies, including objectives, messaging, timelines, and stakeholder management.
  • Leads media relations activities, including spokesperson preparation, securing positive coverage, and managing media inquiries.
  • Ensures integrated planning and consistent messaging through close collaboration with Corporate Communications and cross functional partners.
  • Identifies and coordinates speaking opportunities that advance business priorities.
  • Creates and supports communication materials, events, and content for internal and external audiences.
  • Represents the communications function with business units, sharing corporate priorities and elevating business needs back to the broader communications team.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of industry trends and business priorities.
  • (If applicable) Provides Spanish language translation and support for external communications, media materials, and key initiatives.
