About The Position

Everlaw is looking for an experienced Manager, Technical Recruiting to join our team. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and grow a team of technical recruiters focused on supporting hiring across our engineering and product organizations. This is a great opportunity for a strategic problem-solver who is excited about partnering with the business to drive more efficient and high-signal interview processes for in-demand technical talent. Amid a rapidly-evolving recruiting landscape, you will be responsible for defining and executing recruiting strategies that align with business goals, ensuring a world-class candidate experience, and building strong relationships with hiring managers and leaders. The Manager, Technical Recruiting will be a key player within the talent acquisition team, helping to shape and scale our recruiting function as we meaningfully grow our R&D function. You will lead a team of technical recruiters and sourcers, working collaboratively with them to cultivate and hire exceptional talent. This role is a vital partner to our Engineering and Product leadership, ensuring we are well-positioned to meet our ambitious hiring goals and continue to grow our world-class team. While this role will focus mostly on managerial responsibilities, we would expect this person to carry a fractional recruiting load as a player-coach, so the ability to execute as a highly effective technical recruiter is important. This is a full-time exempt position based in our Oakland, California office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home Tu/Fr.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in a competitive, fast-paced environment.
  • You have 2+ years of people management experience, with specific experience leading a team of technical recruiters.
  • You have demonstrated experience partnering with technical hiring stakeholders and executives to drive recruiting strategies and initiatives.
  • You have a track record of using data to improve team performance, drive efficiency, and tell a compelling story about recruiting outcomes.
  • You have experience building and optimizing recruiting processes to scale with rapid company growth.
  • You have the ability to opportunities to improve workstreams upstream and downstream from our core recruiting responsibilities that shape our ability to hire well

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technical recruiters.
  • Partner with engineering and product leaders to understand business needs and develop scalable supporting infrastructure (job descriptions, interview plans, etc.) to support efficient growth
  • Collaborate with recruiting leadership to continuously improve our processes, tools, and practices to ensure efficiency and a positive candidate experience.
  • Leverage data and metrics to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and to drive informed decisions.
  • Serve as a key leader within the broader People team, contributing to company-wide recruiting initiatives.
  • Leverage your experience as an accomplished technical recruiter to operate as a player-coach in certain contexts
