About The Position

Provides technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and facility permits. This role involves organizing and scheduling resources, working with regulatory agencies, developing and implementing compliance systems, reviewing reports and waste approvals, and providing technical assistance for treatment methods. The position also requires developing written documents, maintaining communication networks, participating in community outreach, overseeing personnel, and managing budget information.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
7 years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement).

Responsibilities

Provides regulatory and technical guidance to sales, approvals, customer service, and operations personnel.
Organizes and schedules all necessary resources required to accomplish activities.
Works with regulatory agencies to obtain reasonable permit conditions and other requirements.
Develops, implements, and maintains systems to support and monitor compliance and minimize risk.
Reviews and signs environmental and other reports and project submittments.
Reviews all waste approvals and provides second signature authorization.
Provides technical assistance to operations in order to improve existing or develop new treatment methods.
Develops and maintains written documents and/or plans.
Maintains a technical communication network amongst various coordinators, and participates in community out-reach efforts.
Oversees personnel needs including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance.
Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
Submits reasonable budget information and analyzes data versus year-to-date data and prior year budget.
