Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Manager, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing technical accounting research, adoption of new accounting standards, SOX compliance, and various other financial reporting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with public accounting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business or accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting and technical accounting.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SOX compliance.
Strong code of business ethics and personal integrity.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively plan, organize and prioritize projects.
Ability to function in a team environment.
Ability to maintain discretion, tact and poise to work with confidential company information.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and guidance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Independent judgement and decision making abilities.
Position is a hybrid work arrangement.
Ability to work in office at our Carnegie, PA headquarters required.
Flexibility for partial at-home work, to be arranged upon selection of successful candidate.

Responsibilities

Conduct technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
Coordinate the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards as relevant.
Write position papers on transactions and issues, as needed
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate audit processes.
Perform periodic tests for impairment (ASC 350 & 360)
Perform account reconciliations and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance.
Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure timely filing of all financial reports.
Review US GAAP adjustments at foreign affiliates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Lead and assist in various technical accounting improvement projects as appropriate.
